今日は1日働いて日本円に計算したら28000円以上1日で稼いでいたので記事にしてみました、、
My Experience and Insights
I worked at sushi restaurant with japanese staffs for 9.5 hours.
Most of Japanese staff is so kind for me, they taught me how to make sushi, but I couldn’t memorize all of them, because there are so many sort of menu.
Long Hours and Rest Time at the Sushi Restaurant
I had to work in this restaurant 10AM to 9PM, but I had to take a rest for 1 and half hours.
I think the time to take a rest for 1 and half hours is so long(I’d like to work more).
Australian Coworkers and Work Culture
There are coworkers who are from Australia in sushi restaurant.
While rest time, I tried to talk with her.
She work in this restaurant for 6 years, in spite of she is 19 years old.
I was surprised people living in Australia can work from junior high school student.
Making money by themselves is so good experience for children, and I think the reason that most of customers are kind is included.
Different Perspectives on Post-High School Life
She graduated from high school 1 month ago, and she keep working this restaurant.
I was surprised that because when I lived in Japan, I thought that I had to work or to go to university after graduated high school.
However I realized that it’s important for someone to think about their lives.
Life is only once, so I think there are people who need to stop and think their life.
The Importance of Taking a Break and Reflecting
It’s not difficult things for everyone, but I didn’t think that things, because I hesitated to stop my life.
Of course, there are people who don’t need thinking time of their lives like not taking a rest.
However there are people who need to take a rest and think about my life like me;)
I think what I need is to know the options to take a rest like working holiday.
Most of Japanese people walk a predetermined path, after graduating university most of them start working, and then, they start raising their children.
I don’t wanna deny their life, but I think we should know we can choose our life.
Our life is for ours, not for our parents, friends, Japanese government and children.
We can be happiness after finding what I really wanna do.
Aspirations and Respect for Coworkers
She have already known about these things, that’s why I respect her.
Her plan is to become a flight attendant After this year.
This is not easy way, but I would cheer her.
And then, we talked about her family and how to spend time while her day off.
One of my purpose to come to Australia is to become a friends who is from Australia and know about their lifestyle and their mind, so I’d like to talk with her more.
Finishing the Workday and Future Plans
I finished working at 9PM, if I work until last time, we can get sushi on the lane.
That is so good for me, because I don’t have to make dinner.
To cook something is great time for me, but If I can get meal, I can reduce the cost of one meal.
In the way, I finished working today, but I have also work tomorrow morning.
I’d like to save a lot of money to go travel around Australia!
