[ワーホリ82日目]オーストラリアで自分のことを分かった日

日記

今日はオーストラリアにきて初めて自分のことを改めて知った日です。

Morning Shift at the Sushi Restaurant

Today, I started my day working at the sushi restaurant.

The environment there isn’t ideal for me, mainly because of some Korean coworkers who make me feel uncomfortable.

I value my freedom and dislike unnecessary complaints.

Constructive feedback is essential, but offering unsolicited advice can strain relationships.

To reduce stress, I’ve decided not to work shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Avoiding negative interactions is key to maintaining good work relationships.

Afternoon Break and Potato Craze

After my morning shift, I returned home with only two hours before my next shift at the Japanese restaurant.

I was starving and looked forward to eating.

Lately, I’ve been crazy about potatoes.

Australia offers a wide variety, and I recently bought a 5-kilogram bag from Costco.

The price was the main reason, but the quality has convinced me to buy them again.

Evening Shift at the Japanese Restaurant

The evening shift at the Japanese restaurant was less hectic, allowing me to interact with customers.

I had a great conversation with a friendly group and exchanged Instagram accounts and phone numbers.

They even invited me to their home, which was a first for me.

I was pleasantly surprised and excited about the opportunity.

Reflections and Future Plans

Balancing two restaurant jobs is challenging, but it provides valuable experiences and interactions.

Avoiding negative influences and focusing on positive connections helps me maintain a healthy mindset.

I’m looking forward to more opportunities and continuing to enjoy my time in Australia.
